With these calculators, my students will now be better equipped to meet their IEP goals. These calculators will help my students in participating more in class. Seeing the word problem solved right in front of their eyes will provide my students with a much more visual representation of each problem and its solution. The Math regents exam currently has a passing rate of approximately 40 percent for students with learning disabilities. This rate needs to change! Using these calculators will help my students pass the exam and increase the passing rate for students with learning disabilities. The skills gained from these calculators will also be essential in helping enhance my students college and career opportunities.
