We are living in age where agility and understanding of technology is a skill that is needed to be successful in college and in the workforce. My hope is that with more chromebooks available to my students, they can start enriching their education by expanding their opportunities in and outside of the classroom. The requested Chromebooks allow my students to immediately receive significant feedback for their writing, and provide more opportunities for research-based learning. In the past two years I have seen significant improvement in students' writing based on their ability to not only use technology as a resource, but also receive immediate and ongoing feedback. Students spend more time enhancing their writing instead of merely recopying words into final drafts.
