Last year we attempted to alleviate the effects of the heat, in the 90 degrees, with floor fans but they were loud and disruptive. In addition, students lacked concentration from the excessive heat. My students need your help! Please help me work toward narrowing the achievement gap with 4 QUIET tower fans. Students in air conditioned classrooms have an unfair advantage over my students whose learning is being disrupted. The loud floor fans make our active cooperative learning classroom a challenge. We had to often relocate our class to escape the heat, missing our supplies and being confined to quiet activities.
