Currently, my school only has two computer labs. They mainly are used for the computer teacher, testing, or older kids typing and writing classes. This means that my little kindergarten learners don't get hardly any chance to learn with technology. Having more technology in the classroom would give my students another way to learn. Students all learn differently, this we all know, and technological learning is currently lacking in my room. These iPad minis would be used as a center during center time for students to play learning games or read books. They could also be used for small group testing, instead of trying to find a time to get into the busy computer labs. This I think would benefit my students so the ones who need more time could have it, and the ones who are faster don't have to wait for the others finish to move on.
