I strive to keep learning new skills and information myself, so that I can in turn pass these along to my students each year. My 7th grade science classroom is a hive of activity each week, as I assign my students a variety of projects from artwork to reading and writing, online lessons, team and individual challenges, and of course lab experiments to test their skills. My team of 150 students each year has many from low social-economic families, military families, learning disabled, English language learners and other special ed students. Making sure I use every resource I can to bring the needed technology and supplies to my classroom in this current economy is a special concern, and why I am so thankful for the folks at donorschoose and for donors like you.
