I want my students to know they will always get what they need in my classroom including the proper supplies to be successful. Some students' families can not afford school supplies, but that doesn't mean they can't be successful when given the opportunity. Many of my students need me as not only a teacher but also as a parental figure that will be there to support their learning, even with something as simple as a pencil. Offering a child a pencil could change their entire day for the better! I am requesting pencils, loose-leaf paper and twenty three-ring binders.
