When you're searching for a place to sit and read, would you choose a cold, tiled floor or a soft, cozy rug? If my rug is fully funded then my students will have a comfortable and appropriate place to sit during learning time. An inviting whole-group space is vital in the elementary setting. We gather together to read, work out math problems, study authors, share about our day, investigate science topics, and learn about life. It's not just a classroom, it's home away from home. I believe my students deserve the best, comfortable learning environment I can provide. A rug would take my classroom to the next level. Without a rug, it's a cold classroom. With a rug, it suddenly becomes a little piece of home!
