Not only are we dealing with an extreme budget crisis in Oklahoma, but our individual classroom teachers are struggling to deal with the demands of increasingly complex student curriculum, downgraded student behavior and as much as anything, a severe drought of time, for enhanced planning and teaching. Ms. Bishop is the Library Media Specialist at the elementary school, and given the library instructional sessions do not coincide exactly with that of the classroom, she is lending a hand to reach out to the community for classroom support. These requests are limited to needs that would otherwise go unmet and are considered essential to meet student needs.
