Students need to have the appropriate materials in order to succeed in the classroom. Students in my class have an extreme amount of responsibility at a young age. They are often responsible for taking care of themselves, getting themselves to and from school, and taking care of their siblings. For this reason, I would like to be able to provide my students with pencils and erasers for writing. When given the right materials, students can learn to express themselves through writing. I would like to give students the opportunity to learn the basic skills of written expression through providing them with pencils and erasers.
