As I am entering my third year of teaching, I have decided to fully take on the "flexible seating" approach. Over the last two years, I have done about a 50/50 with flexible seating, and this year I am planning to take it on completely! With that being said, there are still a few items that I am in need of in order to complete my classroom and make the flexible seating as magnificent as it can be for my future 50+ students. Flexible seating is a wonderful opportunity for students have a choice to be comfortable and learn in the best way possible for him/her. I know it will be a wonderful addition to my teaching, and the students will be ecstatic and hopefully excited to read and write! I teach some extremely wonderful students who loved to be pushed and challenged; I think this will be an exciting way to keep them engaged and motivated throughout the year.
