As adults, we have to make many choices on a daily basis. One of the most important things about being an educator is teaching my students to be responsible and accountable. My ultimate goal is to create a classroom environment where every student is able to achieve their very best while making choices about seating. Flexible seating allows students to engage in the 4Cs: collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking. My students need to have the ability to make choices concerning their learning. Flexible seating such as exercise balls, wobble chairs, and bean bag chairs will allow students to utilize their learning style and will allow them to engage in choices.
