During Math Talks, student volunteers and higher level thinkers lead the talk and explanitaion of a concept. They will use the easel and paper to teach their classmates. Many students can help their classmates have a better understanding of a concept by expressing and explaining their thinking to others. These materials will allow students' work to be displayed around the room for reference and explanation purposes. Dry erase boards must be cleared for more writing to exist. Smart boards have to move to the next page for more writing to be done. This project will provide a paper copy for future reference. These materials can be used and saved by the student and teacher to be used as examples and teaching aids. Students' are proud to see their work!
