Our projects are designed to supplement our current percussive education program to increase the musical depth of knowledge in our students. With the additional music literature, our students will have a larger, more concise collection of rudimental content along with an endless assortment of exercises that apply each rudiment to different musical situations. Technology is such an integral part of education, adding visual and audio examples that serve as additional instruction to students that learn better in nontraditional formats. The addition of technology includes a video projector and a connector to allow students to bring their own devices to share self-recorded home-based practice sessions with the class, along with the plethora of web-based references that can offer several additional formats to presenting literature that falls outside the realm of traditional music education.
