"When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this: you haven't" (Thomas Edison). My third grade classroom is filled with 21st Century learners who persevere and learn by doing each day. They are flexible thinkers who solve problems in a variety of ways. They work collaboratively and learn to respect each other's ideas. They find that learning is fun and they have the potential to be anything they put their minds to. This is the best practice for the real world which is full of diverse opinions, unpredictability, and unlimited possibility.
