I have given my teaching style the self-proclaimed name of a "structured-hippie". I thrive off of organization and procedure. However, I also love those organic, teachable moments. I pride myself on raising my first grade students to be actively present and aware of my expectations, but also amazingly flexible. In my classroom I hope to teach joy, guidance and the importance of keeping our brains active!
