My students are your typical first grade six and seven year olds. Since I am a bilingual teacher, they are predominantly Spanish speaking. They enjoy coming to school and like much of this generation, they love technology. Technology has played a huge role in them learning English. Since they began the year, I have seen in increase in vocabulary due to the games that are available On line. Our school is a title one school. This means our students come from predominantly low income households. This also means that more than 75% of our kids are on free or reduced lunch. Most of them only have access to technology in a school setting.
