Thank you for helping public schools. Teaching was always my dream and has become my passion. It took me a while to get here -- after college, after other jobs, after raising my family -- but it was worth the wait. I have never worked harder at something or loved it more. Each year I spend hundreds, sometimes thousands of my own dollars to bring activities and interesting lessons to my class.However, I'm nearing retirement and need to start saving for myself.
