This year, our school is piloting a new Common Core-based curriculum embedded with an online component created to target skills in Reading and Math. This component allows students to complete personalized lessons, play games, and take online assessments. However, we only have 5 computers for 16 students to share throughout the day. I would like to purchase 5 Chromebooks in order to give my students multiple opportunities to use this online component of our wonderful new curriculum. Although students are able to use this online component at home, many do not have the resources or technology to access the program. With access to more technology, my students will develop the fundamental skills to succeed in the 21st century.
