These magazines give students a break from regular text books. The pictures are engaging and the stories have a social emotional learning opportunity. We all need to have compassion and gratitude during this pandemic. The content gently exposes students to poverty and its impact, climate control, possible future careers, living with a disability, and many more relevant topics. These articles also tackle current topics such as the presidential election, human trafficking, and self care. When youngsters are excited about a topic, it creates passionate discussions that could make our world a better place.
