Hello, I am a Kindergarten teacher at a public school. This is my second career so I have only been teaching since for 10 years. I LOVE what I do. My students are amazing. I have a high level or participation and my students know the expectations and classroom rules very well. They love to play - and we do that everyday through math and literacy centers. They do even know that they are working everyday. This year i was awarded a GRANT for BeeBot robots to teach my students coding. Now I am working on getting funding for IPADS and OSMOs (words, numbers,Tangrams). We just started using OSMO and I was so surprised with how quickly they picked up working with the tangrams and completing puzzles. We are now making words which ranges from beginning sounds to making vocabulary words or CVCe words. They now have numbers for math. These programs are self checking and independent. My students were great at this.
