With 5 Chromebooks available in the classroom, the students would be able to practice test taking skills, expand their academic learning, and even have additional resources that can be used for rewards. Students view computer time as "free time" and view it as a privilege. What better way to have students use "free time" than to have fun learning! In addition, students learn at different paces and Chromebooks would allow students to use certain programs that go at their individual paces to practice math facts, discover the world, or play games to help with reading. It's a great way to make learning fun! Donating to this project will give my students advantages on technology that they do not normally or may never have. We all know that society is growing rapidly and moving more towards technology advancement. Chromebooks in the classroom would give my students a jump-start on learning what technology can do. The future for my children is to go to high school and college. Having Chromebooks would help to give them the skills they could use when applying for school, jobs, and many more things!
