This project requests five Gaiam Balance Balls, and Plastic Stack Stools. I plan to set up my room so that students can choose the seating they need for their learning environment. Students need a choice when it comes to seating. Kids need to be able to wiggle and move to release energy and activate their brains. Since recesses have been cut back I have worked to become creative in offering choices in seating. When students can move while they learn their brains are more engaged!
