I am so excited to be a part of donors choose.org! Next year, I will be venturing up to the 8th grade and I have so many amazing ideas for my students. For starters, I want to get them reading high interest novels. After being with them all of this year, I have a true understanding of what they like to read and learn about. In order to keep that interest level, I am going to need some new books to teach them. I have been teaching for almost 10 years and my two favorite topics to teach focus on social, emotional learning and literacy (SEL) and the Holocaust. Since I am so enthusiastic about it, my kids are too. Let's keep that going. Can you help me help my students succeed?
