Most of my students come from an underprivileged background, however at Hoover we do our best to make sure that our students are prepared to be successful members of society and follow their dreams! With your help I will be able to provide my students with the structure, organization and resources that they need in order to succeed. I will use all of this materials to provide a caring and rigorous environment in mathematics. With the shift in common core and the way that we teach math now, there are so many opportunities for learning but this often comes at the expense of more resources. There are great things that students can use to further their math development from books to pencils and white boards. All of the resources will be utilized to make sure that students are collaborating with each other, maintaining a growth mindset and acquiring a love for math that will drive their future careers.
