Welcome to my page! My name is Jeff Dean and I teach 7th Grade Social Studies at Eloy Junior High School in Eloy, Arizona. I have taught here since 1986 and Eloy is my home town. Both of my parents also spent their careers teaching school here. Eloy is a racially diverse rural community about half way between Tucson and Phoenix. At one time we were a thriving farming growing community, but changes in the economy have stressed both the community and our school. My students are the most special people in the world to me. Many come from homes that struggle financially and with the difficulty that economic need can bring. They still come to school everyday ready to learn and to find their places in the world.
