My students come from a very high poverty area. We have kids coming to school hungry everyday. Our school has 100% free lunch and breakfast for all students K-8. Even though they have struggles, they still love coming to school. One of the hardships I see as a teacher is the ability to stay seated all day long. It is hard for a student to sit in the hard chairs. I would like to bring a luxury to kids who rarely get the luxuries in life.

About my class
