We have pre-adolescent learners that represent a very unique stage of development. Students here come from a variety of ethnic and economic backgrounds. The staff and administrators here are amazing; they are dedicated and love the kids. One of my 7th grade boys just "loves to run". "Can I please run another lap?" While another student struggles with obesity and needs consistent encouragement to exercise. Our school has strong athletics and music programs that feed into the high school. And then there are our few homeless, displaced foster children, students with physical and mental health issues and English language learners that all need to be taught with same loving kindness.
