We need current, engaging technology to capture the enthusiasm of our students and assist them in learning to recognize letters, numbers, and other key concepts in early childhood education without the frustration of desk top computers. We need a designated "Computer Area" where four students can sit down together and work with tablets that are simple enough to be as fascinating as mommy's phone. Children are familiar with technology and they love to manipulate tablets. In my classroom music and song is a high motivator. This software captures that spirit of fun while really helping the children to develop early childhood skills in preparation for kindergarten. This grant will upgrade our classroom technology with tablets and headphones and enable our children to be proficient in the use of technology for learning.
