My students are ages three through five years old, our Pre-K Varying Exceptionalities classroom supports students with a variety of special needs. We are a title 1 classroom, with many low-income students. We work to provide quality early intervention services to meet the needs of our students, many of whom have developmental and language delays. There are five areas in which development may be affected: cognitive development, communication development, social or emotional development and adaptive development. Our Pre-K VE setting works to help these students prepare for general education Kindergarten classrooms.
