Children, by nature are just as curious as cats! When we allow children the freedom to explore the world around them, their inquisitive nature cannot be quenched by the teacher alone. The goal of my project, Who Let the Tech out of the Bag? is to increase student engagement and literacy through the use of digital resources. The use of i Pads will compensate for the lack of computers in the classroom to differentiate and personalize learning. Students will be able to collaborate in group projects, access eBooks, and complete tutorials for all academic subjects. Each week, I will meet with my students to discuss their progress. Students will be provided with a data chart to take home and discuss with parents. This tool will develop an interest in taking responsibility in their academic success. Technology is a huge part of our classroom and the perfect tool to pave the way for authentic learning experiences! Thank you!
