BY having a second monitor and green screen setup, I will be able to support my students learning in a fun and creative setting, While using the monitor to see students engagement. Picture my set up at home in my tiny guest bedroom during distance learning: the walls are grey and the furniture is well, bedroom furniture. With a Green screen, I can transport the class to the setting they are studying, the pyramids, London Tower, or even a science lab experiment. Keeping the setting vibrant and meaningful to the topic at hand will allow for better student engagement. A second monitor, to add to my small 13" laptop will allow mw to keep my full class on the screen to monitor engagement, and answer questions in real time or chat mode without having to constantly switch between screens on my laptop. All of these things will help to create an environment of learning, that will transfer back into the classroom when live instruction begins. Where the green screen would then be used to support student projects across all subjects.
