I cannot wait to teach phonics this year! Coming off of some amazing professional development this summer, I have all the ideas and materials needed for engaging and multi-sensory phonics instruction. Students will be using sand trays to write the sounds they hear, finger lights to spell words in the air, a variety of writing tools and surfaces to orthographically map words and much, much more! Students will need quick, easy, and seamless access to a variety of multisensory learning tools in one 30 minute lesson. These shelving units will be wonderful in providing storage as well as organization for the many items they will be using each day during phonics instruction.
