This year I have joined many other teachers in setting up an alternative seating arrangement in my classroom. Therefore, my students do not have assigned seats. Every morning when the students arrive they choose their seat for the day. Therefore, they keep a lot of their books, writing folders, etc. in their cubbies. The magazine holders will help them keep their items organized and easy to carry to their chosen seat. The lap desks will be another alternative seating choice for the students. We already have a standing set of desks (with stools for when they get tired) and a kneeling/sit on the floor table (with pads), so I am excited to add another option.
