Our classroom community is a diverse group of learners who are curious and innovative. They have worked to adapt and strengthen their growth mindsets to become lifelong learners who take ownership of their own learning. My students love to make and learn from their mistakes: our classroom motto is to "Fail Fabulously," for F.A.I.L. stands for "First Attempt In Learning." They are not afraid to try new ideas or to think outside of the box. My students also love to collaborate with one another, working together in small groups and in pairs in areas all around our classroom. While they often work at their desks, my students really appreciate having areas within the classroom to work comfortably and collaboratively with their peers.
