My students are VERY active, inquisitive, growing 8 and 9 year olds. They are constantly moving around, standing up, fidgeting, finding ways to move around during instruction time. The school is primarily low SES and around 80% bilingual/ESL. Though many come from economically low backgrounds, they are very hardworking students and are very driven to learn, just have hard times focusing.
