Our classroom goal this year is to allow students to “take charge” of their learning, by working independently at their individual levels while promoting self-confidence. The Amazon Fire tablets will offer each student the opportunity to access high interest reading programs to increase fluency and comprehension, and introduce new vocabulary to their repertories. Students with tablets are able to access the district’s educational apps that correlate to our Math, Science, and Social Studies programs to reinforce skills while learning new skills. Students will have the opportunity to explore through independent research on their tablets. My first grade students are excitedly looking towards “Firing Up To Learn!” with the Amazon Fire tablets! We would greatly appreciate your donation towards helping these students “take charge” of their learning. Thank you from our "Fabulous First Graders!"
