As a member of my school's technology pilot with 1:1 iPads, I am planning to have the students utilize the iPad often in class. To write with the iPad is difficult without the use of a durable stylus. My students have tried to write with the iPads, and they are able to type, but writing by hand will be beneficial for them as well. Last year I purchased a set of stylus with the remainder of my classroom money, but they were cheap and most ended up breaking with the daily use from my students. They loved using them, but we started to run out of ones that were useable!
