This trip will make a difference to my students by connecting the learning in the classroom to a unique community based arts experience at a local college, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. We will be able to relate our classroom read aloud of Charlotte's Web to the live action play at the nearby theatre! It will be a a great opportunity to get outside our self-contained special education room and experience our community arts program. In addition, we will be able to compare and contrast the book to the actual live action play. It will be an experience that I would not be able to give them without your help!
