Almost 50% of the students at my school are active military families. It is a very transient population, which can be difficult at such young ages. Some of my kindergarten students have attended 3 schools within their kindergarten year! This sometimes creates challenges as far as meeting our state's standards, as well as meeting the social and emotional needs of each child.
