Books are expensive, and resources are limited at our small school. The cost of high-quality reading material is sometimes our limiting factor. These stories will inspire, motivate, and empower my students to be their best selves. These books each share a story with a powerful message--from acceptance to tolerance to perseverance. It's tough to be a middle-schooler these days, and seeing a character in a book experiencing and working through a tough situation is a great way to open a conversation about a difficult topic or share a possible solution to a problem. These stories will promote a growth mindset and positive classroom culture.
