My students are an intelligent, kind, loving bunch of second graders. They are eager to learn and have a strong interest in developing our school garden. Our school is a Title 1, STEAM focused, Farm to School Charter school in Georgia. We have a hunger for learning and a thirst to live a healthier lifestyle. We are a K-5 school where students come from a variety of backgrounds, and this project will offer all students an opportunity to learn the importance of planting, growing, and harvesting the food they eat. My students are always willing to try new things and their parents are right there to support our new initiatives.
