My students are my life. When I decided I wanted to be a teacher, I wasn't sure of the students I would encounter along my journey. I am currently teaching in a high poverty school with very high mobility. I teach two classrooms of third graders. My focus is on math, science, and social studies. One of my classes is an inclusion class. We have a mixture of all abilities within that class of students. My students are charismatic, emotional, strong willed, and loving. It is important to build relationships with our students as they often times come to school seeking positive words and interactions from an adult. Relationships are so important with the students in my school. As a school, we understand and value relationships with our students, their families, and each other.
