My students (and I) love music and love to use technology. My goal is to bring these two passions together in my music classroom! There are so many apps and activities that my kindergarten students will be able to explore and create with using an iPod Touch. They will be able to take what we learn in class and immediately apply it in a fun, age-appropriate, and engaging way. I will also be able to set up a listening center with this technology, allowing my students to be aurally exposed to music that they may have never heard before, and hopefully inspired to seek out new music experiences on their own!
