My students currently work in desks and have their materials in their desks as well as cubbies. Our class is very busy, we move around as much as possible. We do a lot of problem-based learning and many group activities. We have a socio-economically disadvantaged population with 98% of our students receiving free or reduced price lunch. I have five students who receive special education services who would benefit from alternative seating. All students are enthusiastic about learning, and are looking forward to to the opportunity for alternative seating.
