My students right now are doing work on old science tables that I found around the school building. I was in need of tables because some students were unable to fit into the student desks that I had in my room. The table tops are scratched up and have chunks missing out of them. I want my kids to have a nice work space to work, do group projects, and have conversations. My students have been working on the workshop model in math this year and are loving it, but they are having a hard time moving around when the table are falling apart on them. I want next years group of kids to be able to work easier without all the issues that this years kids had.
