Research has proven that students perform better when given choices. One choice that we can easily give children is the choice of comfortable seating. Just like students have different modalities of learning, they also have different seating preferences. When students have a choice they will feel more ownership for their learning. Students like having the power of choice. Most do not feel that power in their everyday lives. Being able to choose at school is a real self-esteem booster! Please help us close the learning gap by giving my "family" a choice!
