Our small, northern NJ school is tucked away in a tight loving community. Students from varying ethnic and economic backgrounds gather together to learn. We are in the process of moving into the Reader's Workshop Model. We are already using the Daily 5 learning center approach and plan to continue that when we have fully adopted the Workshop Model. Students in my classroom love the opportunity to read independently and be read to. They view reading as a treasure and enthusiastically await daily reading time.

About my class
