My students need math manipulatives to support a more concrete understanding of their math goals! Students will be using base ten blocks to help with understanding addition and subtraction up to three digit numbers. Students also need unifix cubes to increase knowledge of subtraction because you can break these into ones for easier visualization. My students need more hands on manipulatives to engage them in real world connections. The play coins will help them with coin identification and adding money in the real world. My students need hundreds charts to help them see patterns in the way numbers are presented. My students will be using all of these materials to help support them in their mathematical learning journey. By receiving these specific materials, my students will be able to have their own set of manipulatives to use in the classroom as well.
