Hello! My name is Jacqueline Colwell and I am the choir director at Silver Creek Middle School and High School in Sellersburg, IN. We are a new group since the schools here have not had a choir program for at least 45 years. Needless to say the students and I need plenty of Items to help get our choirs up and running. We especially need risers and sound shells since the majority of our performances are performed in venues that are accoustically, and kinesthetically challenging. We perform 3 concerts in the gymnasium in which we stand on the floor and perform. The style of performance is very difficult on the students since the audience can niether here or see them very well. I am hoping on this website that we might get some donors to help fund our project to get risers and sound shells to showcase the hard work we do in class.
