LEGOS are toys that students are willing to select to play with and get excited to receive as gifts under the Christmas tree. The product line has been expanded to included characters, themes and structures that are useful in developing story lines, and scenarios used in stories, plays and short essays. The use of manipulatives in Reading/Language Arts is one of the things that make learning more fun and exciting for students and more useful to teachers. Lessons taught using LEGO don’t feel like boring school assignments. On the contrary, they engage students and make the assignment fun and interesting.
